Now
- Living in chaotic ruins made of cardboard boxes.
- Reconnecting with my old hate-hate relationship with bureaucracy and administration. Having some nightmares about them occasionally.
- Still project managing and budget managing our move, renovation and maintenance.
- Daydreaming about sludge-hammering and greening our concrete slab garden.
- Digging up my dormant Python knowledges by practising it in between domestic tasks.
- Saying extra nice things to my cat for being so brave and amazing. He is so good at adjusting to new environments and always uses his designated scratchers and litter boxes for his humans’ convenience. The bestest kitty.
- I think I have social anxiety?
- Cycling again. Exploring Edinburgh’s vibrant and diverse cycling communities. Community focused bike shop, Wee Spoke Hub looks particularly interesting. Planning to visit.
May 2025 was another big, crazy, body aching month. June won’t be so much different. Having two homes to work on, I got sore phalanges and burning/dry skin everyday. On a brighter note, I loved choosing paint colours. I like colours and I felt totally normalised rejecting dozens of white paints in search of the perfect bright, cheerful, warm and sunny white.
I am super sad to have missed a lot of fun events that happened during my busy moving time. 😢
- Porty Pride 2025!
- Queer Data Showcase at Pleasance organised by AI Ethics & Society and Pride in STEM
