• Crossing my fingers on an exciting data research project that I think I will be part of!
• Further working on my R and other data science skills.
• Preparing to move to a newly acquired property.
• Project managing a small budget home renovation/maintenance. So much to learn about electricity, heating, and gardening!
• Picking hedges and bushes that I can put into our new (tiny) garden.
• Admiring the weather, keeping my windows wide open during the day.
• Recovering from my indulgent trip to Korea. Having some muscle pain from this workout.
• Looking into part-time hospitality jobs to make more predictable income. The mortgage is scary.

April was a whirlwind! I spent 3 weeks in Korea and attended a grand family gathering. Relatives from California, family in Seoul, and myself from Scotland all came together to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms, delicious food, and perfect weather. It was a real eye-opener about the diasporic experience, especially after a year of hard work trying to assimilate.
